Sweater #58

Keeping to the intention of placing the sweaters in a public place, sweater #58 was placed on a ball washer in a public golf course just outside St. Louis.  Adjacent to the Meremac River, the golf course is a part of Fenton Park. The rolling hills have limestone ledges that protrude above the winding river that eventually feeds into the Mississippi.  The area seems to be a comfortable community with diverse economic needs and probably has limited exposure to issues related to homelessness.  It also seems to be a community that from a glance doesn’t seem to be as hard hit by the current housing crisis as few homes/buildings are boarded up or are for sale.  However, a plant across the highway went out of business and is now for sale, so somewhere, people in the nearby vicinity are impacted by the stagnation of economic growth.
