Of course, some families or people use their car as a shelter. According to a Times article, more and more people are resorting to their cars as the new homeless shelter. Having experienced living in a dilapidated camper without electricity or facilities for some time as a child, I can relate to the dilemma that people face when attempting to use the vehicle as a dedicated space for living. And, as stated earlier, it is more common than we realize. The next time you are on the road, look around–you might be surprised!
