This is the second to last sweater taking part in the exhibition in Cairns, Australia and while the pattern is subtle, it is a twill type of knit that moves diagonally up through the sweater. The second sweater was placed at a display center in Trader Joe’s in Wisconsin by Terri Minkin. ‘Tis the season for shopping and adorning every inch of surface with decorative holiday cheer and I saw one store actually sell mini-sweaters as ornaments for the Christmas tree. Of course they were probably mass produced in China and didn’t promote any social cause other than capitalism. Hopefully the person who selected something from this display also was able to find it in their conscience to make a contribution as well as to have something to adorn the tree.
