Sweater #157

One of the benefits of living in a desert is the ability to spend a lot of time outdoors in the winter.  The site for sweater #157 is the Salvation Army Church in Tempe that has an outdoor worship space.  The setting sun in the background highlights the warm tones of the strong steel that encases the weather stressed wooden cross.  And, while I am sure that the God of all faiths has compassion for those less fortunate, this sweater provides a reminder to those who seek strength to be more compassionate, understanding and accepting that there are others out there that strive to share in this compassion.
