Sweater #229

This little patriotic colored sweater was placed on the Evanston leg of the CTA where people wait, sometimes endlessly, for the train. As many riders of public transit realize that sometimes this may be the only respite from the elements such as heat, wind, rain, and snow. While this was a pretty nice day weather wise, as many know in the Chicago land area, the weather can change at the drop of a hat.  Ironically, the placement of this sweater on metal strips appear like the picket fences along traditional Americana landscapes that are captured in literature and films of the American dream.
