Sweater #152

Fellow knitter, Louise from New Hampshire, contributes sweater #152 that she placed in Grand Central Station close to the New Year.  If you look closely you can see the sweater just by one of the steps behind a woman who was sitting near the bottom of the stair case.  Louise wanted to get both the picture of the sweater, the woman and the flag.  Interestingly, the police came to tell the old woman that she could not sit there. Louise speculates that the woman might have been injured, and as she appeared to be of no means, she was asked to leave most likely on loitering grounds. For all we know, she may have been homeless as well.  Apparently, though, the sweater appears to have found a home since upon Louise’s return to the area within a short period of time, the sweater had likewise disappeared.
